Wendy Gates Corbett, President, Signature Presentations, LLC, and Adjunct Professor of Leadership at Duke University
Wendy Gates Corbett is a business owner, belonging researcher, international speaker, and Adjunct Professor of Leadership and Management in Duke University’s graduate engineering programs. She is the author of the bestselling book, “The Energy of Belonging: 75 Ideas to Spark Workplace Community.” Wendy's research pinpoints the behaviors that foster a genuine sense of belonging within organizations. Her personal journey as a biracial individual has profoundly influenced her mission to cultivate spaces of unconditional acceptance, a mission that she brings to life as an organizational culture consultant. Her thought leadership is highlighted in her role on the Board of Trustees for Guilford College, and an Association for Talent Development (ATD) leadership award that honors her contributions to community and leadership. She is a certified DEI Champion, subject matter expert on inclusion, and holds ATD’s Certified Professional in Talent Development credential.
