How Employers Can Address Racial Disparities in Mental Health and Physical Well-Being

Throughout the world, people face health challenges exacerbated by systemic inequities. Health disparities based on race, ethnicity, and cultural identity are a global concern that extends into everyday life, including the workplace. These disparities are persistent and deeply interconnected, affecting both mental and physical well-being for employees and their families. 

Understanding the Global Scope of Health Inequity 

Historically marginalized populations experience higher rates of illness, lower access to preventive care, and worse health outcomes than dominant or majority groups. This wellness gap shows up in every region, and leaders must be aware of the specific challenges facing people from different backgrounds across their workforce.
